My main role in making of this cinematic was animation, camera work, VFX creation and in general taking care of cinematography. Entire video was rendered in Unity Engine.
There was a lot of challenges here. Apart from big time constraint I had to code a tool to animate characters in a way necessary to acomplish some scenes. One of the most important aspects of that tool was ability to scrub timeline of a scene at any point in time without having to replay all effects from certain point (for example particles were problematic).
Some animations like when the big guy is lifting his weapon and then impales the knight on the ground brutally twisting the weapon at the end were made entirely by hand using that tool.
A lot of shaders or effects that came with third party tools required modification or improvement to work with that tool but also in general to work with each other without conflicts.
My responsibility was also to edit the video which was done in After Effects.
